Historic Racing Miniatures has been known for making race cars and transkits from the 60's and 70's. They have recently released a transkit to convert Fujimi's excellent Ferrari 330P4 into a full detail kit. Everything under the bonnet is included. The only major modifications required are to cut the rear bonnet from the main body, the small exhaust guard from the bonnet, the extensions from the interior, and the lower transmission and to bend the rear frame up a bit. I've took several photographs for your enjoyment. I didn't plan on writing much as I will let the pictures do the talking. With my current setup I cannot get everything in focus at once without loosing lighting. Once I get a better setup, I will take more pics.

CONCLUSIONS

As you can see, the kit is very well packaged with separate bags for the various assemblies. The left and right suspension and intake pipes are in separate bags. Everything is very well made of a thin and crisp white resin. This kit is well work the $60 price tag. I did not take pictures of every part in the kit. There are some large pieces such as the firewall and the engine cover plate. With these kits expect long delays in getting a copy as his items are in high demand. I have included a picture of one finished that was in someone else's Fotki account. One other note, with his engine kits, I like to put them in a plastic container that keeps everything divided and well protected. That is essential as the parts are very fragile. The only thing lacking are some pictures in the instructions and some wiring diagrams.
